My apps didn't unlock

Open FirstThing and check the ring on Today — apps open the moment your minutes are complete. Only active reading counts: the timer pauses if you leave the app, lock your phone or stop scrolling for a few minutes.

How do I turn blocking off?

FirstThing › You › turn off “Rest apps until I read”. Every app opens immediately. To remove Screen Time access entirely: Settings › Screen Time › Apps With Screen Time Access.

How do I change my Gate time?

FirstThing › You › Morning / Midday / Evening Gate. Gates can start as late as 10:00 PM and always release at midnight.

How do I cancel or get a refund?

Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions › FirstThing › Cancel. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Can I use NIV, ESV or NLT?

Those translations are copyrighted. Turn on “Read from my own paper Bible” in FirstThing › You to read any translation on paper while the app keeps time.
