Your data stays on your iPhone.
FirstThing is built so that we never need your data. This policy explains what the app stores and where.
What we collect
Nothing on our servers. FirstThing has no backend, no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK and no tracking.
Sign in with Apple (optional)
If you choose to sign in, Apple gives the app an anonymous user identifier and, if you allow it, your first name. Both are stored only in your iPhone's Keychain to greet you by name.
Screen Time
FirstThing uses Apple's Family Controls, ManagedSettings and DeviceActivity frameworks. Apple provides opaque tokens for the apps you select — we cannot see which apps you use, for how long, or what you do in them.
Reading data
Your streaks, reading history, highlights and settings are stored locally on your device. They are deleted when you delete the app or tap “Erase all data” in FirstThing › You.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details.
Children
FirstThing does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.
